Jacob is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a rich foundation in emergency and prehospital care. His career began as an Advanced Care Paramedic, where he not only provided critical care but also contributed as a clinical instructor and preceptor in the Advanced Care Paramedic program. Jacob collaborated with physicians in research on prehospital trauma and cardiac arrest, further deepening his medical expertise.

Driven by a desire for a deeper understanding of the human body, Jacob transitioned to Osteopathy, training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO). He earned a Master of Osteopathic Manual Science (MOMSc) and became a proud member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA).

Jacob’s approach to treatment is rooted in the core philosophy of Osteopathy: unlocking the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Each treatment is personalized to suit the unique needs and conditions of his patients, reflecting his commitment to individualized care. Jacob believes in the boundless potential of the human body, a belief that inspires his continuous study and dedication to Osteopathy.
Beyond patient care, Jacob is deeply passionate about teaching and education. Whether guiding students, peers, or patients, he approaches education with humility and a genuine desire to share knowledge. His egoless approach fosters a collaborative and open environment where curiosity thrives, empowering those he mentors to grow and succeed.
Equally, Jacob’s own educational journey is never-ending. He continually strives to learn more, refusing to settle with where he is in his knowledge or skills. Jacob challenges himself to deepen his understanding of the human body and the principles of Osteopathy, embracing every opportunity to improve and refine his practice. This relentless pursuit of growth reflects his commitment to excellence and his belief in the evolving nature of mastery.
Guided by the wisdom of Marcus Aurelius—”It takes courage to practice something that can never be mastered”—Jacob embraces the challenges of his profession, pushing the boundaries of his abilities to better serve his patients, inspire his students, and honor the never-ending pursuit of knowledge.
