Admissions Synopsis for the Toronto School of Osteopathy
The Toronto School of Osteopathy (TSO) welcomes individuals passionate about pursuing a career in osteopathic practice. Our admissions process is designed to accommodate a diverse range of applicants with varying educational and professional backgrounds.
Admission Requirements
Minimum Education
- Applicants must have completed Grade 12 high school education or hold an equivalent qualification.
Preferred Education
While a high school diploma is the minimum requirement, post-secondary education in any field is strongly preferred. Although health sciences or biological sciences can be advantageous, applicants from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. TSO values the unique perspectives and transferable skills that individuals with varied educational experiences bring to the osteopathy program.
Professional Experience
- Health care practitioners from other fields (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, chiropractic, or massage therapy) are highly encouraged to apply. Their professional background provides a strong foundation for osteopathic studies.
Application Process
Applicants with prior health care experience may be eligible for advanced standing or exemptions based on their qualifications.
